When you make an attempt for the first time, you’ll fail automatically because Tiny Tina made it impossible. Past this area is a jumping puzzle you’ll need to solve in order to make it across. You’ll be attacked by more dwarves in this next area. When they’re clear, scale the stairs to the left. Head up the path and into some ruins where Ultimate Badass Dwarves will come at you in waves. When you kill the four Rock Golems, a Badass Iron Golem will attack.
After picking up this rune, Golems will spawn and attack you before making your way to the second rune. The first letter rune is right behind you up the small steps on a pedastal. Claptrap will send you on a fetch quest to find letters that make up the pass phrase. Even though he’s opened the gate, you’ll still need to ask him about the door. Turn right and make your way up the stairs and to Claptrap. You’ll need to head back across the bridge. You’ll be attacked by all the Dwarves in the area. You’ll soon end your friendship when Brick commands you to punch the king. Continue down where you see the three Dwarves standing in front of a factory entrance. Luckily, you’ll have the help of the Dwarves, as they will pull out weapons to help fend it off. Head to the left and around where you find Dwarf Miners an Orc Invader will drop in on you. There is an Ammo Shrine up the hill should you need it. He has a ton of health and can take a while to bring down. This area contains an extremely powerful Orc Warlord who can level up to 66 before being killed. Be mindful of the Orczerker that lurks below.įollow the rails across the chasm and you’ll be attacked by Orcs. Head down the path to be ambushed by spiders and Orcs.
Head forward and to the right are some Vending Machines with a Defense Shrine. At the end is the entrance to the Mines of Avarice. There are Basilisk swarming this bridge as well. You can avoid them if you don’t want to fight. Beware of the Dragons guarding the bridge. Stock up and follow the path down and around the mountain. Then you’ll come to a chasm with a single lamp and an ammo chest under it. Run past the skeleton sitting in the throne and through the broken wall behind him. Be on your guard as one of these three chests is a fake. Head past the Tree of life and down into the ruins. Upon learning that the Handsome Sorcerer kidnapped Flamelock’s Queen, Roland the White Knight suggested you fight your way through the Mines of Avarice, which hold a shortcut to the Handsome Sorcerer’s tower and, hopefully, the queen.
